COCKTAIL & SANGEET
The Space looked bespoke and royale straight from the 80’s, disco balls & neon lights filled the space with its radiance. Both the bride and groom twinned in bespoke Manish Malhotra outfits and sparkled. They entered a shadow being formed in a silhouette to "Fall in Love " going into " Voulez Vous ". Rishi went down on his knees and put a ring on Vedika followed by the cake cutting. Then started the family & friends shaking a leg. The highlight of the dances was a dance by the bride and her cousin. The evening was taken over by the best anchor Junaid followed by the RDB Boys band Manj Musik, the entire crowd grooved to his Punjabi & Hip-Hop tunes while everyone enjoyed the curated classic cocktails from the 80s. Then came in the best DJ in town DJ AJ to get everyone to groove to his retro disco hits and Bollywood numbers. The highlight was the mesh drop which was insane, projections mapped on a mesh net in the middle of the ballroom created the drama and oomph to make sure everyone partied till dawn. A party like no other.
HALDI - MEHENDI
The Haldi was a total color blast, we just wanted to have fun with colors. Each color had something to denote. Vedika entered with her parents hand in hand and was seated at the Jhoola for her ceremony. Rishi surprised Vedika as he entered with his entire family and friends with handkerchiefs in their hand grooving to Mehendi Laga ke Rakhna going into Say Shava Shava. It was a Sight to behold, then started the Jhoola ceremony where Vedika was adorned with floral jewels. This was followed by the Haldi rituals which kicked off with the family applying Haldi and then the friends taking over to apply everything that came their way. The flower shower was the highlight. The couple then re-entered the after party which turned out to be a bigger and better affair than the cocktail. Everyone grooved and moved to DJ Krish known as TBom & Rituraj on the drums. The bar was flowing with coloured cocktails the guests enjoyed the other activities like Illusion, Block Printing, Lac Bangles, etc.
BRIDAL MEHENDI
The Mehendi drew inspiration from Vedika & Rishi’s dreamy proposal in Monte Carlo. We decided to blend the Mediterranean & Classic with a touch of Bougainvilleas and coloured flower palette. The brunch started with cocktails flowing from mimosas to champagne to Aperol. The bride looked resplendent in an Abu Jani outfit and was a sight to behold with all her bridesmaids. The live band took center stage while the ladies grooved to the music. There was Dhol and a lot of Tamasha. The space was demarcated with different cities on the shore of the French Riviera and areas were divided from mehendi lounges to Lunch setup to a small cute cafe. The groom entered to Dhol beats with his groomsmen and it was a vibe. The bride then performed the French tradition of cutting the ribbon while the bridesmaids held the other side of it. The mehendi was an affair for everyone to remember.
BARAAT
The Baraat went on for a long time, and the groom walking down the Royal stairways of the Taj with his groomsmen was a sight. The Gateway Room was filled with cheer as the groom and his friends took center stage. Grooving to the DJ’s beats with premix shots and coloured dupattas they all looked in their element. All adorned sunglasses that read RV.
WEDDING
The wedding was a muted and elegant affair with dreamy florals at the Grand Ballroom. Rishi entered the venue with his Mother-In-Law performing rituals and vocals by Ameya Dabli & Team. Then came in the bride adorned in a Red Lehenga looking like a million bucks. The bridesmaids stood at the alley to welcome her to Laal Ishq, she was then escorted by her brothers to the aisle where her pre-recorded vows played. Rishi had tears in his eyes while she walked up to him and they exchanged vows and garlands amidst flowers being showered. The wedding rituals started and Sai ( Guru ) held centerstage. After the vows came in the other ceremonies were to be performed. A wedding where two hearts become one until infinity.
THE HAPPILY EVER AFTER PARTY
The party where the mood was chill and it had to be the best closure for a week-long
celebration. The space was filled with a mix of green and gold. With the bar being the
highlight it was 40 feet long and filled with 1000 candles. The evening started with a
saxophonist and then Gurdeep Mehendi taking over. The entire crowd grooved to Punjabi
beats and Dhol. The night was then taken over by DJ AJ & Jonqui on percussion. The
Friends partied till the wee hours of the morning. A closure to the most beautiful
wedding ever curated, planned & managed.
